“Earth is the Only Home” – WKV Group’s Third Reforestation Program of the Year

“Earth is the only home” is a profound reminder of our planet’s uniqueness and the preciousness of the environment that sustains all forms of life. This concept often underscores the need for environmental stewardship, emphasizing the importance of protecting and preserving Earth for future generations.

Continuing its commitment to environmental sustainability, WKV Group successfully held the third reforestation event of the “Wanaropa” program on November 22, 2024, at the “Katiya Reserve” at Seelathanna, Nakatiya. The event was a remarkable success, with the participation from officials of the Haldumulla Divisional Secretariat, wildlife reserve officers, and representatives from the Department of Agriculture and Environment.

The reforestation event was organized by the dedicated staff of the Bogandana, Kalupahana, and Pathaha Hydropower Plants, with invaluable support and guidance from the WKV Group Management team.
